Session 1 - Friday February 19 - Morning Session 9:30 to 12:30
Backbends: Anatomy and Practice
Improve and deepen your backbends by understanding the anatomy of the hips, spine, trunk and shoulders, and applying it to a thorough backbends practice.

Session 2 – Friday February 19 - Afternoon Session 2:30 to 5:30
Inversions: Physiology and Practice
When you turn upside-down, your physiology changes dramatically. Your blood pressure, heart beat, circulation, breathing, hormones, and brain activity are all affected. Learn what happens, how it works, and how to use it to get the most out of your practice of both head-up and head-down postures. Alternative postures will be offered for those who cannot practice full inversions.

Session 3 - Saturday February 20 - Morning Session 9:30 to 12:30
Yoga for Shoulders, Knees and Hips
Learn simple, effective ways to strengthen, mobilize and align your shoulders, knees and hips while enjoying a well-rounded yoga class. You'll safely get the most out of your postures by using anatomically precise technique and personalized modifications.

Session 4 – Saturday February 20 - Afternoon Session 2:30 to 5:30
Forward Bends and Twists: Anatomy and Practice
Improve and deepen your forward bends and twists by understanding the anatomy of the hips, knees, spine, and trunk, and applying it to a thorough forward bends/twists practice.

Session 5 - Sunday February 21- Morning Session 9:30 to 12:30
General Asana Including Standing Poses
Come enjoy an invigorating, well-rounded asana practice. You'll get expert instruction, with special emphasis on the art of standing poses, and how their alignment and spirit carries over into every pose.

Session 6 – Sunday February 21 - Afternoon Session 2:30 to 5:00
Breathing: Physiology and Practice
This class will teach you the basics of breathing science, from the molecular level up to effects on consciousness. You will learn and practice breathing “mechanics” and physiology that apply directly to both pranayama and everyday life.
